Once you know how easy it is to make maple butter, you'll want to put it on everything! It's wonderful on toast, rolls, waffles, corn bread, pancakes, and even savory dishes like baked potatoes and pork chops.
Mix all ingredients for three minutes using an electric mixer on high speed. (The butter may curdle during the process, but keep mixing and it will come together.)
1/2 cup unsalted butter, 1/3 cup pure maple syrup, pinch salt
Notes
Store it like any other butter. We like to leave ours covered on the counter for easy spreading. It can be kept at room temperature on the counter for a week.If you like other flavors with your maple, you can experiment with adding spices like cinnamon, nutmeg, or cardamom and a touch of vanilla extract.
