Instructions
Preheat Belgian waffle maker to medium heat.
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda, sugar, and cinnamon.
Separate eggs, keeping egg yolks together in another large bowl.
Whisk together egg yolks, melted butter, buttermilk, and beer.
Stir flour mixture into egg yolk mixture until just combined.
Whisk egg whites until stiff peaks form. Gently fold into batter until just combined.
Fold in chocolate chips.
Cook waffles according to the waffle maker’s instructions.
Serve immediately or keep warm in a 200 F oven.
