- 1 oz bittersweet chocolate
- 15 oz 1 can tomato sauce
- 3 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp smoked salt
- 1/2 tsp sumac
Combine all ingredients in a nonreactive medium saucepan.
Heat on medium-high until the mixture comes to a slow boil, stirring regularly.
Lower heat and simmer until reduced by half.
Remove from heat and cool to room temperature.
Store in the refrigerator until ready to use.
