1/4C+ 2 tbsp red misothe original recipe called for white miso, but the store was out of it and red worked well
1/4tspsalt
1/2Choney
1 1/4Cwhole milk
1large egg yolk
3Cheavy whipping cream

Instructions
In a medium-sized saucepan on medium-high heat, combine sugar, miso, salt, honey, and milk.
Stir constantly until it is about to boil and then remove from heat.
Place egg yolk in a medium-sized mixing bowl.
Pour milk mixture over egg yolk, mixing to combine.
Whisk in cream.
Pour mixture into ice cream maker and follow manufacturer's instructions.
