How to Temper Chocolate

Why Should I Temper Chocolate?
If you don't temper chocolate properly, it becomes lack luster and crumbly.
What You'll Need:
1 lb of Chocolate A Microwave Safe Bowl
Place the chocolate in a bowl and microwave in short bursts, stirring vigorously in between until 75% of the chocolate is melted.
Mix the melted chocolate with the unmelted chocolate already in your bowl until completely smooth.
3. Let It Cool!
Allow the chocolate to cool slightly before using it.
Chocolate does not need to be tempered when using it in cake batter. However, if your chocolate will be visible in your end product, tempering is critical. Use tempered chocolate for:
