Condensed Milk Buttercream

For any home, hobby, or savvy baker, this recipe is SO easy to make!

"I just frosted a vanilla cake with this frosting. It looks beautiful — and the bits I licked from the beaters and the knife taste delicious..."

Reader Review:

1 cup Unsalted Butter 14 oz Sweetened Condensed Milk

Only 2 Ingredients!

In a stand mixer with a whisk, whip butter for approximately 8 minutes.

1. Beat the Butter!

Stop to scrape the bottom of the bowl a few times.

2. Scrape the Bowl!

Add one third of the sweetened condensed milk while mixing on medium speed. Whip for about 8-10 seconds.

3. Add Condensed Milk!

Stop and scrape down the bowl. Repeat for the next third of the sweetened condensed milk and the final third. Do not overmix.

4. Repeat!

It is VERY important to follow the recipe exactly as written. If you don't mix the butter long enough or don't add the sweetened condensed milk while mixing, the frosting may end up separated and too soupy.

Just A Note:

Use this Russian buttercream frosting on nearly any flavor of cake!
