my bakers box giveaway

My Bakers Box is a super fun way to collect seasonal baking supplies.  My Bakers Box was started with three girlfriends who have a passion for baking.  They realized it can be difficult to find unique baking supplies in local stores and wanted to make these types of supplies more accessible.  Subscribers receive a special box full of unique baking supplies, recipes, ideas and more each month.

Here are some of the items that were in the May box:

My Bakers Box

It also had cards with ideas for decorating cute cupcakes and cake pops using the items in the box.  Check out my chocolate potato chip cupcakes to see how I used the box’s contents.

My Bakers Box is giving away a three month subscription to a Cupcake Project reader!

  1. Lauren says:

My favorite cupcake decorating tool is my aceto star tip set. 12 different sizes of star tips. 826 is my favorite

    • Stef says:

12 different star tips?! Why don’t I own that?

    • Sarah says:

I have that star tip set too and love it!

    • Britt says:

Wow 12 different sizes of star tips? Pickle and bacon-shaped molds? These sound incredible!!! I’m overseas so our supplies are seriously lacking here and I find myself looking for the basics on amazon.com!!! I’ve built up such a storehouse of basic supplies that I had to buy a baker’s rack and put additional shelving on our meager pantry just to accomodate the flour, sugar and other baking items that I simply cannot live without!!!! In the meantime, I’m a big fan of my flour sifter, my vermont rolling pin in cherry, and my kitchenaid mixer… I’d be lost without them! I am also a huge fan of anything lavender lately as it really makes the dishes taste like …. Spring!!! :)
Would LOVE to win additional baking supplies, but best wishes and luck to all!!!

    • Jackie says:

Where did u get all these star tips. Please let me know. Thanks.

  2. Julie Guarducci says:

Great idea, I would love to win this prize

  3. My most unique decorating item, just used recently for baby shower cupcakes, is a candy mold to make pickle shapes :) Made them with green candy melts and dusted them with dark green luster dust and put them on peanut butter iced chocolate cupcakes. I also have a bacon shaped mold. I think if I could get anything else for my collection, in addition to more baking pans, I’d want to start collecting a lot of chocolate molds. They are such a fun, simple way to make a little something extra for the recipients of the treats.

  4. Annie C says:

Oh My Word! How did I not know that this existed? I love to bake, much to my waistline and my husband’s chagrin! I would be thrilled to be one lucky winner of this prize!

The coolest cupcake tool I have is a good corer. Lame, I realize but I’m not big into gadgets. Is that weird? I’d like to get into them so maybe this would be a good start!

  193. Nikki says:

My most unique item is my mini dog bone cutter. You can’t make dog treats properly if you don’t have a bone shaped cookie cutter…lol…pretty sure my pup doesn’t care but it does help make it obvious which are the people treats and which are the dog treats.

  194. Toni says:

This is really a greedy wish but I would just go nuts over a fondant sheeter! My cake decorating life would soooooooo much easier if I had one of these wonderful machines! Just toss in the fondant and voila, flattened and done! Whew! I know, I know, they’re pricey but a girl can wish, right? JMJ.

I would love to win a “My Baker’s Box”; but my browser won’t work with Rafflecopter. Whenever I click on any rafflecopter button, my browser times me out before anything happens. I wish there was a way to enter the contest without using that darn thing. Thanks for letting me vent.

    Hi,
I love your idea of a monthly cupcake decorating box in the mail each month!!! I subscribe to a makeup one already and love it!!
The only thing I was a bit disappointed about was the plastic toppers in the boxes. There is so many other options from the gel colorings, to extracts, edible wafer paper, pressed sugar, edible flowers etc. The plastic picks are one item I won’t decorate with. Cupcake decorations should be edible imho.
My most unique decorating item was recently acquired at a chocolatier’s shop. Besides the chocolates they make, they sell supplies for making chocolates. I found shiny, square, tiny, dark chocolate sprinkles. Real, adorable, dark chocolate sprinkles!!! So far they have yet to grace a cupcake though! I have used them on ice cream, and atop a morning smoothie. I did purchase them with the intent to decorate cupcakes and I really want to try your vanilla cake recipe, but then your sugar pie looks yummy too! lol
