We Thank You

Thanks

Dear Readers,

You are the reason that we have dream jobs, creative outlets, and hobbies that fill our lives with joy.  Today, we want to say thanks!

Thanks to those of you who just started reading today.  You may have found the recipe you needed and run off to another site, but thanks for popping in – even if only for a minute.

I’d like to thank my readers for always encouraging me and teaching me more about what it means to build others up by taking the time to encourage them, no matter how short or small the comment it means a lot when they take the time. - Sheila Fritz Johnson from Eat 2 Gather

I’d like to thank Dine & Dish readers for encouraging me to stretch myself to do more non-food type posts (photography, life, inspirational) and for supporting me even more on those posts than the others. Their comments and feedback mean so much to me! - Kristen Wogan Doyle from Dine & Dish

I am thankful for honest and supportive feedback from iambaker readers. My readers have turned into online friends and I look forward to our daily interactions so much! I would love to thank them for sticking around and growing with me! - Amanda Rettke from iambaker

Thanks to those of you who have been reading since our blogs began and who have  followed our culinary journeys from the start – through photos that embarrass us today, recipe successes, and total flops.

I’d like to thank my readers for leaving me comments. Time is precious for everyone, and I appreciate that they took the time to stop by my blog. - Felice Geoghegan from All That’s Left Are The Crumbs

I’d like to thank my readers for teaching me – through their questions & comments I learn so much, and I get curious to do more research & experimentation. – Laura Kumin from MotherWouldKnow

I am grateful that my readers are sticking with me through my mini-hiatus as I adjust to life in Texas after moving from Massachusetts. The support has been amazing and I feel very loved. I hope to return the favor by coming back bigger and better than before! - Ashley Blom from Quarter Life Crisis Cuisine

Thanks to those of you who have made our recipes and those who just dream about making them.  Just the fact that you take the time to visit our online homes is humbling and amazing to us.

I want to thank my readers for sticking with me through my toughest times – particularly postpartum depression and unemployment – when I quit and started blogging half a dozen times. They saved my sanity! - Lindsey Rose Johnson from Cafe Johnsonia

I want to thank my readers for their ongoing support and feedback- whether it’s a Facebook like, blog comment, Tweet, or an email, I am grateful for every single one of them!  - Taylor Ellingson from greens & chocolate

I’m grateful to my readers for the time they take to connect with me through my blog and for their loyalty. – Merry-Jennifer Markham from Merry Gourmet

Thanks to those of you who leave comments about how much your family enjoyed one of our recipes – and to those of you who tell us in the kindest possible way that a recipe doesn’t work.  Hearing from all of you makes us feel like we’re together even though we live all over the globe.

I’d like to thank my readers for their comments. Their comments provide encouragement and recipe inspiration–even months later, I can trace the kernel of a new recipe to a comment left on a post. It’s wonderful and one of the biggest sources of happiness on my blog. – Kirsten Olson Madaus from Farm Fresh Feasts

I’d like thank my readers for their time – whether through leaving a comment, reading the newsletter, or trying one of my recipes, I truly appreciate all those moments. - Lana Taylor Stuart from Never Enough Thyme

I would like to thank my readers for their valuable time they are spending reading my blog – also trusting and trying the recipes and giving me feedback. – Swathi Iyer  from Zesty Southwen Indian Kitchen

Thanks for sticking with us when we make a recipe that doesn’t appeal to you, has ingredients that are difficult to find, or doesn’t fit your dietary restrictions.

I’d like to thank my readers for taking a chance on trying a recipe from a new blogger! – Anetta from The Wanderlust Kitchen

I want to thank my readers for inspiring and supporting me. Without them I would have never come back in contact with my creative side. - Stefanie Lessentien Bundalo  from Sarcastic Cooking

I am thankful for all of it: every single reader, comment (good or bad), retweet, pin, Facebook share and more. I always knew my future was in food but I never imagined simultaneously living my dream of being a stay at home mother while also pursuing my passion for healthy eating. – Liz Della Croce from The Lemon Bowl

Thanks for the emails, the Facebook messages, the tweets, and the Pins.

I would thank my readers for following, sharing, and playing with me – my blog and every social media extension of it, is like a second home, and it’s so nice to enter the front door to such love and fun every day. – Amy Winning Flanigan from Very Culinary

I am thankful to my readers for the energy only they can provide. It still blows my mind that people make what I post, and it makes my day to hear from readers who try my recipes. I’m thankful for the notes of encouragement from those who have survived grad school (either directly or by marriage) and the messages along the lines of “I feel like we would be friends in real life!” And you know what? I feel like we already are! – Erin O’Neill Clarke from The Law Student’s Wife

Thanks for supporting my crazy ideas and giving me the encouragement that I need to keep them coming. – Stef from Cupcake Project

As a member of our virtual family, we wish each of you a sweet and festive Thanksgiving.

Warmth and love,

I love this! I feel incredibly grateful for my readers, and the support / questions / comments / critiques they give. It makes my day when I get a comment or an email from someone I’ve never met, telling me how much they enjoyed one of my recipes, or some of my writing, photography, etc.. When I started blogging, I underestimated how much work it would be… but I also underestimated how rewarding it would be! You (the readers) are what make it all worthwhile. Thank you!

This is so fitting at this time of year. I know how each and every one of those featured feel; we bring what we love to our blogs; to have it appreciated, made or just commented on makes our day. The occasional heartfelt response when something really touches another person’s heart? Absolutely priceless.
